Great News for Both College and College Bound Students

 

 The ARVA Foundation Hindu Center Scholarship Program for Academic Year 2009-2010


The newly formed ARVA Scholarship Foundation in their commitment to the local community within Charlotte and the Carolinas has initiated a college scholarship program. Effective with the fall 2008 academic semester, ARVA Scholarship Foundation has established a scholarship program to be administered by the Independent Evaluation Committee (IEC) of the Hindu Center. This program is in the second year and it is expected to continue for at least a total of five years. The deadline date to apply for the scholarships is May 31st, 2009.

 

The ARVA Foundation Hindu Center Scholarship Program has been established to provide scholarships for children of the members of the Hindu Center to provide training and education to deserving young people on curriculum of their desire selected after the post secondary level education.  The program is open to students in both North Carolina and South Carolina and special consideration will be given to financially needy students.

 

Under this Scholarship Program, five (5) individual scholarships of $2,000 per student are to be awarded per year.

ARVA Scholarship Information

   The ARVA Scholarship Program , has been established in order to provide scholarships to the children of members at the Hindu Center.  It's purpose is to provide training and further education to deserving young individuals, in a field of interest after the completion of secondary education.                   

ARVA Foundation Scholarship Winners :: 2008

  There were 4 lucky individuals to win the ARVA Scholarship within the 2008 calendar year.  Hindu Center & ARVA Foundation extends their congratulations & best wishes to following students who have been awarded $ 2000/- for year 2008 as scholarship.

  Congratulations to the 2008 winners and best of luck to all in their hopes for the 2009 scholarships.  Most importantly, thank you to the Amin Family for creating and continuing such a positive program for the youth of our community.
