What is C.R.O.P.?
C. R. O. P is a Children’s Religious Outreach Program for K. G to 12th grade.
In order to educate our children in our culture and understand our religious practices, Hindu Center is providing an excellent opportunity for our future generations. This unique teaching is not available in schools or other extra curricular activities. C. R. O. P. stands for Children's Religious Oriented Program. In order to educate our future generations about our Vedic culture and the significance of our religious practices, Hindu Center is providing this opportunity. This unique teaching is not available in schools or other extra curricular activities.
*The C. R. O. P. team would like to announce the expansion of the program to include 10 – 12th grades, so now the program includes KG- 12th grade. The new class for 9th -12th graders, a glimpse on understanding The Bhagvad Gita, will provide the children with an opportunity to learn about the GITA with simplicity, ease and in an inclusive discussion format. Please encourage your high school children to join. *
KG -1st Grade (Dhruv Class): Festivals, Moral Stories (Enrollment full)
2nd and 3rd Grade: (Prahlaad Class): Stories from The Bhaagvat Puraan
4th -5th Grade: (Nachiket Class): Mahaabhaarat
6th – 8th Grade: (Arjun Class): Values of Life
9th -12th Grade: (Chaanakya Class): The Bhagvad Gita.
The children are divided in groups with a
limit of 20 per class. A waiting list is maintained.
If you are interested in enrolling your child in CROP, please fill-out the Registration Form and return it to the Hindu Center at your earliest convenience. It should be noted that you must be a member before your child can be enrolled into the CROP program.
